3rd Annual Earth Day River Clean-Up

April 12, 2021 - April 25, 2021
SHARE

April 2021 marks the 3rd annual River Clean-Up event co-hosted by South Platte Renew (SPR), and this year it’s going virtual. Between April 12 and April 25, volunteers can join SPR and the cities of Littleton and Englewood from their own community by collecting debris and trash from their neighborhoods, local rivers, lakes, or parks.

This year, SPR is encouraging a DIY (do-it-yourself) approach and is expanding its focus to include the South Platte River and any parks, lakes, or other areas in our community that need revitalizing! Pick a location that’s meaningful to you and help keep it looking great. Trash bags (limit one per person) will be available for pick-up at SPR.

The goal this year is to collect 100 bags of trash or recycling over the two-week period. SPR will share Clean-Up progress online, and participants that register will be entered to win prizes!

Please take a moment to review the Safety Checklists in order to keep you and your group safe while participating in this event.

If you have any questions, please contact SPR’s Education and Outreach Specialist Deb Parker at 303-762-2638 or dparker@englewoodco.gov
