Resources for Parents

South Platte Renew is a resource for parents and children.  Our Education and Outreach team facilitates learning about the water cycle, water pollution prevention and water conservation.  We offer free tours of our water renewal facility including an educational presentation.  For more information about tours, click here.  You can also find us at community events.  Look for our tent at events like Littleton Meet, Greet & Eats; Englewood Block Party and Western Welcome Week, to name a few.

Program to understand the root causes of hunger and poverty and how to take action. Teacher guide, Finding Solutions to Hunger: Kids Can Make A Difference, has 25 lesson plans, statistics and resources, fund-raising ideas, organizations to contact, and a listing of available videos and books; newsletter on issues related to hunger and poverty, showcase students initiatives, and feature teachers’ experiences; facts on hunger, quizzes, place for students to speak , tips on action.
